1 Owner, Unmodified Survivor
A rare opportunity for the true enthusiast: a clean, unmodified FD3S RX-7 with one owner from new and a story to match the car.
History
Purchased new at Skyland Mazda and owned in North Carolina its entire life. The original owner bought the car at 17 years old, and after college, garaged it starting it weekly to keep it alive rather than driving it into the ground. It has remained a well-loved, driven car rather than a trailer queen, but one that was cared for meticulously.
Condition
One owner, no accidents, clean Carfax, clean title. The car starts instantly with no hesitation or smoke, and everything functions as it should. This is not a mint show car it shows the light wear of a car that was driven and enjoyed but it is an exceptional, honest survivor.
The underside is impeccable: no rust, no leaks or drips of any kind, and a surface clean enough to eat off of.
After years of being garaged, the original paint began to fade a known issue with Mazda's paint from this era, which can turn pink over time. To prevent this, the car was repainted to preserve its appearance. The wheels were also coated black to prevent any rusting, and a painted-on rock chip guard was added to the lower side skirting, Front end and Rear hatch. Most of the factory badging was removed, though all original emblems are included in a small bag with the car.
Mechanical
The twin-turbo 13B-REW Wankel rotary engine is completely original with only 64,000 miles. The transmission is factory and shifts as smoothly as it would have from new. The only modification on the entire car is an Apexi axle-back exhaust everything else remains factory, including the Bose audio system and Bose Acoustic Wave system.

All original manuals and books accompany the car. The only item missing is the factory window sticker. Factory brown Rx7 logo mats still in plastic. 3 keys, factory yellow spare tire & lug key.
